The Harbour Conference : 14th October 2017

On Saturday 14th October 2017 we held a conference to celebrate The Harbour’s 25th Anniversary. More than 80 delegates attended the day which featured a fascinating range of talks from the following on the theme of ‘On Being Alive to Death’:

  • Jill Brown – Psychotherapist and Founder of The Harbour
  • Dr James Brennan – Clinical Psychologist and Founder of Clinical Psychology Department at the Bristol Haematology & Oncology Centre
  • Professor Havi Carel – Professor of Philosophy at the University of Bristol
  • Christopher Vincent – Psychoanalytic Couple Psychotherapist and Visiting Lecturer at Tavistock Relationships
  • Peter Dorling – Trainee Group Therapist at The Harbour
  • Karen Murphy – Hospice Chaplain at Weston Hospicecare
  • Dr Paul Teed – Doctor in emergency medicine and researcher in Assisted Dying
