The Harbour – Coronavirus (Covid-19) Statement

In light of the new Coronavirus (COVID-19) social distancing guidance issued by Public Health England, The Harbour is, at present, making a transition from offering face to face appointments to sessions over the telephone and online, over Zoom. We will be contacting our clients to discuss these changes in due course.

The Harbour’s senior management team and board of trustees are monitoring the situation regarding coronavirus on an ongoing basis.

If clients or staff develop coronavirus symptoms, they will be advised to self-isolate for 7 days. If they live with others who display symptoms of coronavirus, then all household members must stay at home and not leave the house for 14 days.

If you’re currently having counselling sessions at The Harbour and we need to cancel your appointment we will contact you directly. At The Harbour many of our clients have immune systems that are compromised. At this time of heightened risk, we are now advising all counselling clients, visitors and other contacts to avoid coming to our premises in line with the new social distancing advice.

If you have recently returned from somewhere on the list of high risk area on the UK government’s website, please follow the up-to-date advice on the website. If you have a cough, high temperature or breathing difficulties, please visit or call NHS 111 for advice.
