Work for us
We are currently recruiting for a Couple and Individual Counsellor / Psychotherapist.
This is an exciting opportunity for a couple and individual counsellor or psychotherapist to work within our small, friendly and dynamic charity that makes a genuine difference to hundreds of people in Bristol each year.
This is a newly funded post to develop the couple service and in particular to extend our support to couples who face the death of a child.
The post holder will also work with individuals and couples referred to The Harbour through IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies), and people who self-refer. In addition there may be an opportunity to be involved in the development of services to support couples with other life-threatening illnesses.
The Harbour is an established NHS provider of counselling/psychotherapy services and the post holder will work alongside experienced therapists currently providing this service.
The Harbour uses a psychodynamic approach and applicants must have an interest in and experience of this way of working.
The deadline for applications is 9am on Friday 11th May 2018.
Interviews are scheduled to take place in central Bristol on the afternoon of Tuesday 22nd May 2018.
